On Tuesday 29 July 2008, at joint School Council meetings of Tintervale Primary School and Croydon South Primary School the motion was passed:
“that Croydon South Primary School merge with Tintervale Primary School on the Tinternvale Primary School site from the beginning of the 2009 year”
Many issues had been raised at the Community Meeting held Wednesday 23 July and were part of the discussions prior to this decision being made.
Both school communitites are now in the process of addressing these issues through Steering Committees.
An exciting time is ahead as we move forward to building greater educational opportunities for all our students; from two great schools comes an Excellent School.
Every year, DEECD (the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development) requires all schools to submit their projected enrolments for the following year, in the first 2 weeks of August.
This enables planning to be undertaken for facilities and curriculum provision.
You should please be considering where you are likely to send your child/ren to school next year...
A letter is being sent home with every child on Monday 4 August 2008 requesting parents/guradians give an indication as to WHICH local primary school they will use from 2009.
